The inpatient dialysis unit provides hemodialysis to inpatients in the hospital whether they are established dialysis patients, patients requiring short term dialysis or new dialysis patients. The unit has 4 hemodialysis units allowing hemodialysis to be performed 24 hours a day. The dialysis unit also has 1 personal cycler that allows for peritoneal dialysis to be done at the patient's bedside. Dialysis patients that are in the Intensive Care Unit receive dialysis at the bedside.
