Central Carolina Hospital earned Heart Failure Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology in 2024. This accreditation is based on rigorous on-site review of the staff's ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with heart failure through pre-hospital care, early stabilization, acute care, transitional care, clinical quality measures and more.
CCH also earned Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology in 2024 for success in implementing a high standard of care for heart attack patients. This signifies that CCH treats our patients using the clinical guidelines and recommendations of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
In 2023, CCH received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Certification for Primary Stroke Centers as well.
