Rehab Services - PT & OT

Central Carolina Hospital's Rehabilitation Department offers outpatient and inpatient physical and occupational therapy services for persons with musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopedic conditions.  Our staff consists of licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists to provide you with quality and consistent one-on-one treatment. Outpatients are treated Monday through Friday in our free-standing clinic at CCH, and inpatient therapy is available seven days a week.  Our staff of experienced clinicians treat a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses and surgeries including: 

  • acute neck and back pain
  • sports injuries
  • orthopedics surgeries
  • Stroke Rehab
  • Neurological Conditions
  • fractures of the extremities or spine
  • total hip or knee replacements
  • hand injuring including tendon repair, carpal tunnel syndrome
  • work related injuries
  • motor vehicle accident injuries

Offering a continuum of care is vital to our patients. Our licensed staff sees patients preoperatively, during the acute hospitalization, and as outpatients. Once a person is ready for discharge, we encourage ongoing participation in your home exercise program. Returning to your maximum ability is the main goal of CCH Rehabilitation Services.

What do you need to bring on your first visit?

Your physician order, insurance cards and a photo ID.

How should I dress?  

Please dress comfortable in clothing that allows easy movement during your evaluation.

Where is Rehab located?  

We are located in the Rehab Services Building.  This separate building is located on the hospital grounds across from the emergency room. We are most easily accessed via the Fields Drive entrance as the Rehab Services Building will be on your right as you enter the hospital ED parking lot.  You do not need to enter the main hospital.
