Central Carolina Hospital is proud to recognize Tiffany Hooker as she steps into her new role as Non-Clinical Supervisor of Inpatient Care.

Tiffany has been part of the CCH team for six years, serving in a variety of roles that have given her a broad understanding of hospital operations and the many ways team members support patient care. Before stepping into her new position, she worked as an operational assistant and mobility tech, while also filling several other roles across the hospital, including secretary, quality support and van driver.

Before joining CCH, Tiffany worked as a CNA at Westfield and spent about 10 years as a daycare teacher in Sanford. A lifelong Sanford resident, she said her connection to the community is one of the things that makes her work so meaningful.

“What keeps me here is the people,” Tiffany shared. “This is my community. I know the patients, I know their families, and caring for people so close to home makes the work feel personal.”

Tiffany’s path into hospital operations began during a season when she was looking for a schedule that allowed her to spend more time with her family. After recently having a baby, she was interested in 12-hour shifts and found a position at CCH as a CNA.

A director at the time saw Tiffany’s potential in a different role and encouraged her to apply for an operational position. That opportunity eventually grew into work centered on supporting patients, staff and hospital operations in meaningful ways.

Through each position, Tiffany has shown flexibility, dedication and a willingness to serve wherever she is needed. Her experience across multiple areas of the hospital has helped prepare her for this next step in leadership.

Outside of work, Tiffany and her husband of 20 years have four children. Her husband is a pastor, and together they also run a dog business, breeding and showing Olde English Bulldogs.

Please join us in congratulating Tiffany as she steps into her new role and thanking her for the care, commitment and heart she brings to Central Carolina Hospital and the Sanford community.
