SANFORD, N.C. (January 3, 2019) – Central Carolina Hospital is pleased to announce Jessi Ayers as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the hospital.

“Jessi’s unique experience in healthcare and finance makes her a great fit for this role at Central Carolina Hospital,” said Central Carolina Hospital (CCH) chief executive officer, Spencer Thomas.  “We proudly welcome her to our team and look forward to her contributions towards our long-term financial strength.” 

With more than 10 years of financial healthcare experience, Ayers is a proven leader in overseeing financial operations for healthcare organizations. Most recently, Ayers was the Chief Financial Officer at Person Memorial Hospital, a Duke LifePoint Hospital, in Roxboro, NC. Before that, she was the Controller at Atlanta Medical Center, Tenet Healthcare, in Atlanta, GA.  Previous to that she was at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County, LifePoint Healthcare, in Martinsville, VA as the Controller. 

Ayers holds a Master in Business Administration and Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and has a Bachelors in Science and Business Management from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. She is also a certified Revenue Cycle Executive from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.   Her professional affiliations include American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
