CCH Welcomes Dr. Frank Olivito

 Family Medicine Physician brings 35 years of experience to Sanford

Sanford, NC (October 15, 2018) – Central Carolina Hospital is pleased to announce that Francesco “Frank” Olivito, D.O. has joined its staff and will be offering Family Medicine to patients throughout Sanford and surrounding areas. Dr. Olivito joined Central Carolina Hospital’s medical staff on October 1, 2018.

“Dr. Olivito, a longtime resident of Sanford, has over 35 years of experience in family medicine. He is an excellent addition to our medical staff,” said Spencer Thomas, CEO of Central Carolina Hospital.  “Dr. Olivito joining our team with his expertise and experience, is important as Central Carolina Hospital strives to meet our region’s evolving healthcare needs and make our community healthier.”

Dr. Olivito joins Central Carolina Hospital from Pinehurst Medical Clinic in Pinehurst, NC.  Previously, he was the Medical Director of Rapid Care in Sanford, NC.  Before that, he was the Associate Dean at JSOMTC at Fort Bragg, NC.

 Dr. Olivito is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (UHS-COM) in Kansas City, MO where he received his Doctor of Osteopathy.  Dr. Olivito completed his Residency in Family Practice at Carswell AFB in TX.  He received his Bachelor of Arts at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He specializes in General Health, Preventive Medicine, Arthritis, Diabetes, Hypertension, Geriatrics, and Smoking Cessation.
