DR. SARAH BRITT FOLEY JOINS CENTRAL CAROLINA HOSPITAL
New OB/GYN brings her training to Sanford
Sanford, NC (September 21, 2017) – Central Carolina Hospital announced today that Sarah Britt Foley, MD, FACOG, will join its staff on September 25, 2017 and will be offering Obstetrics and Gynecology to patients throughout Sanford. Dr. Foley is the 14th provider to join the hospital’s medical staff this year.
“Dr. Foley has years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her specialties include prenatal care and delivery, birth control, well woman exams, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and pre-pregnancy counseling. She is an excellent addition to our medical staff,” said John Maxwell, CEO of Central Carolina Hospital. “Dr. Foley joining our team is important as Central Carolina Hospital strives to meet our region’s evolving healthcare needs and make our community healthier.”
Dr. Foley joins Central Carolina Hospital from Keesler Air Force Base where she was an Obstetrics and Gynecology Staff Physician in Biloxi, Mississippi. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Foley is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. She completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright Patterson/Wright State Integrated OB/GYN in Dayton, OH. Dr. Foley graduated with her BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC with Distinction in Chemistry with a minor in Music Performance. She specializes in prenatal care and delivery, birth control, well woman exams, hysterectomy, laparoscopy, and pre-pregnancy counseling.
Dr. Foley will begin seeing patients at Carolina Women’s Health Center of Sanford starting September 25, 2017. Appointments can be made by calling 919.775.2304.
