The Central Carolina Advanced Life Support (CCALS) is the hospital owned and operated provider of Emergency Medical Services for Lee County. CCALS provides three Paramedic level ambulances 24 hours a day to respond to a variety of medical and trauma related emergencies. Central Carolina Advanced Life Support is certified by the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services as a Licensed Ambulance Provider. CCALS strives to maintain the highest level of education and credentials for our employees. All Paramedics are required to maintain ACLS, PALS, BTLS or PHTLS in addition to their state certification. National Registry certification is encouraged and the accomplishment of educational goals are consistently worked toward.

If you need immediate medical care, call 911. The 911 dispatchers will ask you a series of questions and then send one of our ambulances to your location. You should try to have as much information about the patient as you can. If you have information about their health history, that would be very helpful as well. Above all, try to remain calm.
