At Central Carolina Hospital, we've been providing quality women's health care for many years. Along the way, we've developed programs and added services to meet the changing needs of women in our community. One recent development in the way of women's health care is the opening of the Women's Diagnostic Center. This new area offers a comprehensive approach to women's health in offering services such as bone densitometry and breast imaging. Our caring staff consists of individuals who specialize in breast evaluation using some of the latest technology, including mammography, breast ultrasounds and stereotactice breast biopsies. All of these services are now offered in one newly remodeled area, providing our patients with greater privacy and added convenience. Patients will appreciate our extended hours, pre-registration by phone and free valet parking. For more information about Central Carolina Hospital's Women's Diagnostic Center, please call (919) 774-2864.
In addition to women's diagnostic services, Central Carolina Hospital also provides maternity services, including childbirth education classes, which you'll find listed in our events calendar. These classes consist of three childbirth preparation classes, a breastfeeding class, an infant safety and CPR class, a parenting class, and a sibling class. To register for any of these classes or for more information, please call our Physician Referral/Community Education Line at (919) 708-4602.
Women have special healthcare needs. That's why Central Carolina Hospital is dedicated to providing a wide range of quality women's services.
